Cheryo Johnson

I began my career with the Early Educator Support Office in November, 2013 as a Mentor/Evaluator. I have 44 years of experience working as an education professional and I have thrived in every position. I have in the past, served as a classroom teacher, Gifted and Talented Instructor, Reading First Literacy Coach, and Head Start Site Director. I graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Education. I have my certification in Academically and Gifted Education, and I earned my Master’s of Education in Reading and Curriculum Instruction from Grand Canyon University. I consider it an adventure to be able to support teachers as they strive to grow in this awesome profession.
